Cardiandra moellendorfii (Hance) Migo is a sub shrub of the genus Cardiandra in the family Hydrangeaceae. The stem is light brown after drying; Leaves alternate on the stem, elliptical or inverted ovate in shape; Umbrella shaped inflorescence grows at the top, broadly ovate or nearly circular, with a cup-shaped calyx and broadly elliptical or nearly circular petals, pale red or white; Capsule is nearly spherical or ovoid in shape; The seeds are brown in color, oblong or phallus in shape, with darker wings at both ends that are the same color as the seeds; The flowering period is from July to August; The fruiting period is from September to October.
